Big Boy Bed

For the past month Drew has been sleeping in his crib converted into a toddler bed. Since we want to have the crib available for when the baby is born, we bought Drew a new twin size bed. We put it together this afternoon and he is REALLY excited about it. Here is a video from him seeing it all made up for the first time. P.S. We put him to bed in it about 2 hours ago and he is still playing...

Dancing to Babe

Drew has gotten really into the movie "Babe". His favorite part is when the old man starts dancing. Drew starts dancing around the room and as soon as it's over asks to play it again.

Crashing the Big Truck

Drew is really into crashing all of his cars into each other (thanks Dedu!). He lined up all the car puzzle pieces to count and then decided when he was done counting that it looked like the perfect place to crash one of his big trucks over all of them.

Counting the Cars

Drew has started trying to count everything. His counting is not accurate (or even close!) but we encourage him to do it and the order of numbers he comes up with always cracks us up! Soon enough he'll figure out the right order...

Car Puzzle

Drew got a puzzle for Christmas that is 10 different cars and they have magnets on each piece. There is a "tow truck" that has a line with a magnet on the end that you pick the cars up with. The funny thing about the puzzle is that both Sam and I find it really difficult to figure out where each car fits in the puzzle once they've all been taken out. There is nothing to indicate what goes where, you just have to look at the different peculiar shape of each car. We realized the other day though, that Drew knows exactly where each car goes and gets it right on the first try!

Crashing on Lightning McQueen

Drew set up his "train" of cars and then got on Lightning McQueen and crashed into all of them. He thought it was a really fun game.
