Snow day!

Yesterday was our second day of snow. Drew loved just sitting on the couch and watching the snow blow by. It was really windy so he kept trying to help "blow" the trees to keep them moving. Once he saw me taking pictures of the snow he asked for his camera and pretended to take pictures of the snow but really just aimed the camera at his face and laughed whenever the flash went off!

Truck Book

Drew is obsessed with anything that has wheels on it. He has a "Big Truck Book" that has 4 or 5 different pages and each page has around 10 different types of crazy vehicles on them. Ones all about different types of tractors, one is all about emergency vehicles, etc. You can say the name of any of the vehicles and Drew will point to it and show you which one it is. This boy knows his cars!

Colors!

Drew has gotten really good at knowing all of his colors. Tonight when he had M&M's for dessert before he ate each one he told me what the color was. (Brown is his favorite)

Vacuuming

Whenever I vacuum the hard floor with our little vacuum now, Drew asks for a turn when I'm done. It's pretty cute!

Playing With Farm Animals

Drew has this toy that he got from Grumpy and Nana for Christmas last year that looks like a barn, and has animals sticking out. It tells you to find an animal and then you press it and it makes the animal noise. Since animal noises are Drew's specialty, he is very into this toy right now. Here he was dancing and playing with it.

Jumping

Drew is very proud of his "jumping" skills. He counts to 3 (really he usually "jumps" on 2) and then stands as high as he can on his tiptoes. Maybe someday he'll actually get air :)

Using Daddy's clubs

Sea Lions and Seals!

We went to the Indianapolis Zoo with two of Drew's little buddies Aislynn and Isla. Aislynn and Drew had a lot of fun watching the sea lions and seals swim by.

Crazy Times With the Wagon

Drew has a little toy wagon that came with a bunch of sand toys in it. It is his toy of choice at the moment. Whenever we go outside to play he asks to go back in so he can get his wagon. He loves to run all over the house with it, especially chasing Bailey.

Throwing

We've come to realize Drew takes after his Daddy with his throwing abilities. He loves to throw any ball he sees, and does a "wind-up" all the way behind his head. It's pretty cute!

Talking on the phone

Drew's new favorite thing to do is pick up my phone and pretend to talk on it. Today he had his first "real" phone conversation with Gramma on the phone, he's finally getting the idea that you can actually hear other people on it!

Animal Noises

Drew has gotten very good at doing his animal noises. In this video he's standing in one of his favorite spots, on the coffee table behind the couch, doing animal noises and being crazy.

Dance Party

We went out to dinner with the Fullen's for a late birthday treat for me, and after we went back to their house for cake and ice cream. On quite the sugar rush Drew and Kennedy started having a dance party.

Smashing Sand Castles

Drew had lots of fun smashing sand castles that his aunties and uncles made for him.

Running on the Beach

Drew loved running in and out of the water and up and down the beach. He was always on the go!

Drew had a blast on our annual family vacation in Santa Cruz. He loved playing in the sand and the water.

Bucket Head

Drew had a great time walking around with his Easter Basket (or as Sam calls it, his Easter Bucket) on his head. He was cracking us up.

We had a rainy couple of days, and at one point when it had stopped raining Nana and I took Drew outside to get some fresh air. He discovered puddles and how fun they are to splash in!

Moocher

Drew is our little moocher. Whenever anyone has food around him he starts to say "please" over and over until you give him some. Here he is begging Nana for food.

Drew is always in a great mood in the morning and will often run around screaming nonsense being crazy.

wipe-out!

Drew loves to play in the fountains at the pool. He was trying to drink the water when he took a little spill. I turned off the camera immediately afraid he would be sad or hurt but once the camera was off he started to laugh and did it again 2 or 3 times that day!

Pool time

Drew was in the pool this weekend and realized that he can dip his head into the water and get his hair wet. He thought it was a really fun game.

Crazy Boy!

When Drew's aunts and uncles were out visiting last week he got a little riled up and thought it was really funny to put his pj shirt over his face and run around yelling.

Drew is really good at his baby signs and his favorite is "please" because he has learned that he can get virtually anything if he uses it :)

Paci in the Ball Popper

Drew thinks it's hilarious to put anything and everything down the ball popper toy that he has. Yesterday it was his paci.

Power Wheels

We were playing over at a friend's house the other day and they had a Barbie Power Wheels. Drew had so much fun riding on it.

Pool Party

I love playing in water. Here I am splashing with Hayden and Maya in my frog pool.

Opening Baby Gate

When Gramma and Dedushka were in town we were all talking in the kitchen and realized all of a sudden that Drew had disappeared...he figured out how to open the baby gate and was halfway up the stairs! I proceeded to buy a new baby gate with a more difficult latch the next day, but here's a video of him opening it before I took it down.

Easter Basket on Head

Drew got his first Easter basket this year and every since Sunday morning has been carrying it around with him every where!

Drew has gotten very sturdy on his feet and has finally made the transition from crawling most of the time, to walking most of the time

Peek-a-boo

Drew started playing peek-a-boo where he would hide behind something and then stand up so you could see his face. He did this with the window at Gramma and Dedushka's house and Daddy went outside to play along.

Drew finally decided it was time to start walking. All of a sudden he just started walking across the living room at our friends' house in SLO. He still crawls a lot because he goes so fast, but is testing out the waters with walking.

We went to the swingset on the Pismo beach. It was gorgeous and Drew had so much fun.

We have a baby gate that we put up in the hallway between our living room and kitchen to keep Drew out of the kitchen. It used to keep B out too...but one day when Jake knocked on the door B got so excited he learned how to jump over.

We have discovered that Drew loves socks...anybody's socks. He will pick them up and put them in his mouth and wave them around. I only let him do it when I'm folding laundry and I know the socks are clean :)

Lotion

Drew is a little copy cat, and one of the funnier things that he copies us doing is putting lotion on our hands. He pretends to get lotion from the bottle and then rubs his hands together. It's possible the cutest thing you've ever seen.

Stacking Rings

Drew has started paying a lot more attention the the stacking rings. Sometimes he gets them on in the right order...but not in this video :)

Thumbkin

Drew loves singing and doing the hand motions to the song "thumbkin"

Dancing

Drew made a Christmas moose at Build-a-Bear last month, and when I gave it to him to play with today, and turned the music button on it, he started dancing with it.

Flip 'Em Again

More of Drew playing Flip 'Em, this time, when he lands on the couch he climbs off and walks around the couch to where I'm standing to make me do it again.

Drew has discovered how to pull himself up to a standing position. He tries to do this on anything that is 6 inches or higher off the ground.

Lightning McQueen

Drew got a Lightning McQueen ride on car for Christmas. He loves putting things in and out of it, and honking the horn.
